Afinia have partnered with HP for their latest printer release. The Afinia L502 has been built with HP’s Dura Prime Duo Technology, this means you can easily switch between dye and pigment inks depending on out label requirements. The pigment inks make the L502 both GHS and BS5609 compliant when paired with the correct labels and the dye based ink formula offers ultra-vibrant and low cost prints. With an guillotine cutter as standard and rugged metal casing, we highly recommend the Afinia L502 for even the most challenging environments and labelling applications.

For the Afinia L502 to be BS5609 compliant it must be used with pigment inks. Pigment inks are more durable and resistant to chemicals than dye based inks.

The Afinia L502 is best suited for estimated label volumes between 2,500 – 20,000+ per month, depending on the size, design and material. Recommended for use with paper inkjet labels with the dye inks and filmic labels to give you the durability needed for high end chemical compliance or labels requiring a decent level of water resistance. As with the rest of the Afinia range, the ink cartridges are supplied CMYK individuals for cost effective and economical printing.
