This is a very hardworking, reliable and rugged print engine which has been develop and designed to handle mission-critical, high-volume, 24/7 industrial label print applications. This absolute dynamo of a print engine is a fantastic combination of cutting edge print technology, industrial robustness, and excellent usability. The Sato S84-ex can be used as a standalone print engine, and has a range of standard and optional interfaces (USB 2.0, Wireless LAN, Parallel, Serial, Ethernet, Bluetooth) that can be used for networking capabilities if required. This class-leading model of print engine label printer has print and throughput speeds that are best in class.

Continuous operation is made easy thanks to the excellent features and clear design that make the Sato S84-ex an extremely easy model to configure, operate and maintain. There are a range of emulations on-board as well as downloadable and uploadable printer settings, so set up is quick and easy. The Sato S84-ex is operated using the large LCD user interface which includes a two-colour status LED. Easy access to the rear cabinet makes short work of media and ribbon replacements and replenishment, and general maintenance is made fast and easy through great tool-less printhead, roller and sensor cover replacement.
