The Zebra ZD420 industrial label printer is a compact model with industrial capabilities. Available as either direct thermal or thermal transfer, this user-friendly industrial label printer has been designed for easy installation, operation and maintenance. Its plastic dual-wall frame is extremely durable, and its pared down user interface uses three buttons for operation alongside five status icons so that you can monitor the status, data, supplies, network, and pause status of the printer at a glance. Ribbon-loading takes seconds as the Zebra ZD420 is the only thermal printer model on the market that uses a no-fail ribbon cartridge for fast and foolproof reloads, and for extra efficiency a crypto chip in the ribbon cartridge alerts you when the ribbon needs replacing. Media loading and other maintenance is made easy by the Zebra ZD420’s use of OpenACCESS design which enables easy access to media and maintenance bays.  

Connectivity is more than covered by this model’s comprehensive standard and optional choices – virtually any connectivity requirement is covered by USB, Serial, Ethernet, Wireless Dual Radio, Ethernet, WiFi, and Bluetooth options. The Zebra ZD420 uses both ZPL and EPL programming languages, and supports Zebra’s Link-OS platform which allows you to remote manage your printer from the Cloud.
